Product Questions

Q: What sizes of pans do you sell?

We currently offer 22cm, 24cm, 26cm, 28cm, and 30cm stainless steel pans. These sizes are suitable for everything from quick everyday meals to cooking for the whole family.

Q: Are your pans oven-safe?

Yes. Our stainless steel pans are oven-safe up to 250°C, making them ideal for stovetop-to-oven cooking.

Q: Can I use your pans on an induction cooktop?

Yes. All Searva pans are compatible with induction, gas, electric, ceramic, and halogen cooktops.

Q: Do the pans come with lids?

Our pans are sold without lids unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Q: Is there a non-stick coating on the pans?

No. Our pans are made from high-quality stainless steel and do not contain any artificial non-stick coatings. With proper preheating and oil use, you can achieve a natural non-stick cooking experience.

Q: Do your pans have an aluminium core?

Yes. Our pans feature a bonded aluminium core for fast, even heat distribution and reduced hot spots.

Usage & Care

Q: How do I prevent food from sticking?

Preheat your pan over medium heat for a few minutes before adding oil. Once the oil is hot, add your food and allow it to sear undisturbed until it naturally releases.

Q: Are the pans dishwasher-safe?

Yes, our pans are dishwasher safe. However, hand washing with warm soapy water and a soft sponge is recommended to maintain their appearance over time.

Q: How do I remove stains or discolouration?

Rainbow or bluish discolouration is normal with stainless steel and often caused by high heat. It can be removed using white vinegar or a stainless steel cleaner such as Bar Keepers Friend.

Q: Do I need to season the pans like cast iron?

No. Stainless steel does not require seasoning. Proper preheating and oiling are all that’s needed.
